Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at a Commack bank on August 14th.
A man entered Chase Bank, located at 39 Vanderbilt Motor Parkway, Commack, at approximately 4:45 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the man fled on foot.
The man is described as white, 5’5 to 5’ 8 inches tall. He was wearing a baseball cap, possibly with a camo pattern on it, sunglasses, a white dress shirt, black pants and black shoes.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call Major Case at 631-852-6555 or Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
