Attendees. Half Hollow Hills PTA Meet The Candidate

DIX HILLS, NY – On Wednesday, October 29th The Half Hollow Hills PTA Council and the PTA Student Legislative Committee hosted the final “Meet the Candidates Night” of the 2025 Town of Huntington local election season at Half Hollow Hills High School East. The event, moderated by June Margolin, President of Huntington Matters, brought together the Huntington candidates running for Suffolk County Legislature, Town Supervisor, Town Council, and Superintendent of Highways.

Candidates answered questions submitted by students and audience members, addressing a wide range of community issues from housing affordability, infrastructure and the Melville Town Center to open space, technology, and resources for all residents. Each candidate was given three minutes per question, with student timekeepers ensuring a smooth and punctual program. Their professionalism and precision kept the evening running right on schedule.

Special thanks go to all the 2025 candidates for taking the time to engage directly with residents, to June Margolin for skillfully moderating and clarifying the responsibilities of each position, and to the Half Hollow Hills PTA Council and PTA Student Legislative Committee for organizing such a thoughtful and well-run event.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 4th with Early Voting from now until November 2nd at Greenlawn Fire Department, Dix Hills Fire Department Headquarters and Huntington Public Library – Station Branch.

Your vote truly does count.
