Revolutionary Historic March – Youth Event (Ages 8–18)
Join the Huntington Militia for a one-of-a-kind, hands-on historical experience!
Youth ages 8 to 18 are invited to step back in time and discover what life was like during the Revolutionary War.
Participants will learn essential survival and colonial skills such as quill pen writing, campfire cooking, fire starting, setting up camp, and singing folk and military songs.
The event also features live demonstrations including tours of the Kissam House, Sheep Shed & Barn, and Arsenal, as well as training with a 3-pound field cannon and musket drills.
Bring your own bag lunch; snacks and water provided. – Please note: not all snacks are allergen-safe. Youth with food allergies are encouraged to bring their own.
Bonus: Every participant receives a commemorative patch!
