Tri-Village Baseball Field Dedication in honor of Corey Phelan

Councilwoman Theresa Mari, the Phelan Family, and the Huntington Tri-Village Little League community, will come together for a very special and meaningful occasion as the Town of Huntington will dedicate a field in honor of Corey Phelan. 

After a brave and courageous battle with cancer, Corey tragically passed away days before reaching the six-month mark from his diagnosis. His strength, determination, and spirit left a lasting mark on our community that will never be forgotten. 

Corey’s journey, from a young little leaguer to achieving his dream of signing with the Philadelphia Phillies, serves as a powerful inspiration to generations of young athletes. It is only fitting that those who take the field in the future will do so on Corey Phelan Memorial Field, carrying forward his legacy of perseverance and passion for the game. 

Please join us as we come together to honor Corey’s life, celebrate his impact, and ensure his story continues to inspire.
