HUNTINGTON, NY – June 14, 2026
Thousands of spectators and participants gathered in Huntington Village on June 14 for the 36th Annual Long Island Pride Parade and Festival, organized by the NY LGBT Network. More than 100 organizations, businesses, schools, advocacy groups, and community organizations took part in the parade, filling Main Street with a colorful display of pride, inclusion, and community support.
Crowds lined the parade route throughout the afternoon, cheering on marchers and celebrating this year’s theme, “Unstoppable Pride.” Participants included local nonprofits, faith communities, elected officials, first responders, businesses, and LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations, reflecting the diversity of both Huntington and the wider Long Island community.
The parade concluded at Heckscher Park, where attendees were able to continue the party at the festival featuring live entertainment, food vendors, exhibitors, family activities, and community resources. The event was met with enthusiastic support from locals and visitors alike, while many local businesses benefited from the increased foot traffic throughout the day.
