HIGHLIGHTS:
38. TAX LEVY LIMIT – 2026-484 ENACTMENT: ADOPT Local Law Introductory No. 26-2026 authorizing the override of the tax levy limit established in General Municipal Law §3-c.

ANTICIPATED PUBLIC HEARINGS INCLUDE:
1. BLIGHTED PROPERTIES – Consider authorizing various actions be taken upon certain properties designated as Blighted in accordance with Chapter 156 of the Huntington Town Code (Property Maintenance: Nuisances).

2. MANOR FARM – Consider awarding a license agreement for community or educational proposals for the utilization of the house, buildings and Manor Farm Park located at 210 Manor Road, Huntington.

3. BARKERS LANE – Consider adopting Local Law Introductory No. 31-2026, amending the Uniform Traffic Code of the Town of Huntington, Chapter 5, §5-1, Schedule M. re: Barkers Lane – Huntington Station – Truck Exclusions.

4. TAX EXEMPTION FOR CERTAIN DISABLED VETERANS – Consider adopting Local Law Introductory No. 30-2026, amending the Code of the Town of Huntington, Chapter 178 (Taxation) as to add Article XVIII (Exemption for permanently and totally disabled Veterans).

5. NOISE – Consider adopting Local Law Introductory No. 25-2026, amending the Code of the Town of Huntington, Chapter 141 (Noise). (Local Law Introductory No. 25-2026) Scheduled as per Resolution 2026-358 at 6-9-2026 Town Board Meeting

6. CORNERSTONE MELVILLE – Consider Special Use Permit Application #MTCO-25-2, The Cornerstone Melville, to allow the development of a mixed-use property located on the north side of Baylis Road, east of Maxess Road, Melville.
