Veterans Peer Support Project – FREE
The Veterans Peer Support Project takes place on the third Monday of each month and invites veterans from all eras to stop by and speak with a peer mentor to learn about free programs and services available to them on Long Island.
Light refreshments will be provided, and no registration is required.
The event is open to all and is supported by several organizations including the Joseph P. Dwyer Project, Northport VA Medical Center, Paws of War, Long Island State Veterans Home, Long Island Cares Inc. – The Harry Chapin Food Bank, and Northwell Health’s Unified Behavioral Health Center for Military Veterans and their Families.
