The Town of Huntington’s Human Services Department, under Supervisor Ed Smyth and in partnership with the Huntington Community First Aid Squad, is hosting “The Sweet Truth,” a Diabetes Awareness Month Community Forum.
Organized by Tiffany Williamson-Gonzalez and Andrew Taylor, the event will feature a Real Talk panel of community members and professionals, including Gina Edwards-Nash, Rev. Timothy Flythe, Tiffany Williamson-Gonzalez, representatives from the Northwell Family Health Center of Huntington Outreach Team, and Dr. Gerald Weber, DPM.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with informational and demonstrative vendors such as Northwell Health, Stony Brook Medicine, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Cornell University Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County.
