The Addicted Brain – Dr. Dewey

Join Councilwoman Theresa Mari for The Addicted Brain, a special student and parent community education program featuring Dr. Stephen L. Dewey, world-renowned scientist and research professor at NYU School of Medicine. 

This important evening will focus on addiction, brain development, decision-making, and the risks facing teens and young adults today. Topics may include social media, gambling, substance use, fentanyl awareness, and how addiction affects the developing brain.

This is a FREE event and all kids and parents are invited to come be informed on this important topic. If a child brings a parent or legal guardian they will receive 2 hours of community service.
