Suffolk County Early Voting – 2026 General Election

Early voting for the 2026 General Election will take place Saturday, October 24 through Sunday, November 1, giving registered Suffolk County voters nine days to cast their ballots before Election Day. 

Registered Suffolk County voters may vote at any of the county’s 28 Early Voting locations, regardless of where in Suffolk County they live. Three Early Voting locations are available within the Town of Huntington.

There is no Early Voting on Monday, November 2. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. On Election Day, voters must vote at their designated Election Day polling place.

The ballot includes statewide offices for Governor and Lieutenant Governor, State Comptroller and Attorney General. Depending on a voter’s address, Huntington residents will also see Congressional, State Senate, State Assembly and other applicable contests on their ballot. Voters should check their individual ballot and district information with the Suffolk County Board of Elections.

Voter Registration Deadline: Saturday, October 24, 2026. Register to Vote ONLINE HERE.

Mail and in-person voter registration applications must be received by the Board of Elections no later than October 24 to be eligible to vote in the General Election.
