Manager’s Food Protection Class
Manager’s Food Protection Class
Nutritional Management Services (NMS), SCHD approved entity since 2002, certifies food handlers to meet Suffolk County Health Department training certification requirements.
Upon successful completion and passing the Managers Exam, participants receive a Manager’s Food Certificate valid for three years, equivalent to SCHD certification.
Who Should Attend:
Owners, Managers, Supervisors, Chefs, Bartenders, Food Trucks, Food Handlers, School Lunch Personnel, Volunteers
3 Year Certification in both English and Spanish
Course Objectives:
Participants will:

Understand and apply required hygiene standards in kitchen and bar operations.

Recognize the importance of compliance and consequences of noncompliance.

Demonstrate the application of food safety standards in daily work.

Commit to maintaining these standards consistently.
