Manager’s Food Safety Course – Suffolk County Health Department Approved March-April Class Schedule
Nutritional Management Services (NMS) has been an SCHD‑approved certification provider since 2002, helping food handlers meet Suffolk County Health Department training requirements with ease and confidence. Upon successful completion and passing the Manager’s Exam, participants earn a Managers Food Certificate—valid for three years and fully equivalent to SCHD certification—giving you the credentials you need to stay compliant and operate with confidence.

Course Objectives
Participants will:

Understand and apply required hygiene standards in kitchen and bar operations.

Demonstrate the application of food safety standards in daily work.

Commit to maintaining these standards consistently.
Certification Exam:
55 questions (multiple choice and true/false). Exams graded upon completion. Retests provided and graded same day. Passing score: 70%.Exams available in multiple languages.
