Historic Main Street Northport Walking Tour

Learn the history behind Northport’s Business District with local historian Dan Sheehan during a lively walking tour of Historic Main Street.

Join local historian Dan Sheehan as he weaves the tale of Northport’s Historic Business District. Travel back in time as you hear the stories of the people and landmarks that helped shape Northport, including Jack Kerouac, the Northport Oyster Barons, Rum Runners and the Trolley.

All ages are welcome. The tour departs from the front steps of the Northport Historical Society and Museum at 1:30 PM.

If the tour cannot be held due to severe weather or other circumstances, participants will be notified the morning of the tour. In the event of a postponement, tickets will be honored on the rescheduled date or at the next month’s tour.
