Art and ALS for All: Community Quilt in Heckscher Park – FREE

Join us for a FREE fun day exploring American Sign Language, art, and community!

Learn introductory ASL signs and create an original self-portrait. Complete your artwork by adding the ASL letter signs for your name. Take your creation home or share it with the community in a large display.

This event was developed with and for the Deaf community in collaboration with Heckscher Museum’s Accessibility Advisory Group members Dawn DeRisi and Susie Sussman.

ASL interpretation will be available. All abilities and ages are welcome.
