HUNTINGTON STATION, NY – July 9, 2026
Summer in the Streets made its Huntington Station debut on Thursday, July 9, as the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce expanded its popular summer festival series beyond Huntington Village for the very first time.
Held in the LIRR commuter parking lot across from Peppard Home + Interiors (formerly Suite Pieces), the free community event featured live music, local vendors, community resource tables, family activities, and food trucks. Although some rain fell between 5:00 and 6:30 PM, neighbors arrived with umbrellas in hand and enjoyed an evening of shopping, conversation, and community.
Entertainment included live music, an inflatable obstacle course from Mac Bounce, and a special appearance by Huntington’s own teen NASCAR development driver, Darren Krantz Jr., who displayed his Arizona race car and met with fans while sharing information about his Race for Kids Charity. Guests also enjoyed food from Crepes & Bakes, The Circus Truck, and an açaí bowl vendor.
The Chamber’s Summer in the Streets series continues with two events in Huntington Village on Thursday, July 16 and Thursday, July 23, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wall Street. Admission is free.
