St. John’s Huntington presents The Meridien Duo in concert, with a program of works by Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy, Amy Beach, and Andrea Casarrubios with a FREE Chello Master Class!
The performance will be held at St. John’s Church, Main Street and Prospect Street, Huntington Village.
The Meridien Duo, consisting of Christine Dore on piano and Anthony Arnone on cello, will be conducting a complimentary Cello Masterclass from 12:30 to 2:00 pm.
About the artists: Pianist Christine Doré enjoys an active and varied career as a teacher, chamber of 1 2 musician, accompanist, coach, recording artist and soloist. She has been a Professor of Music at Suffolk Community College since 2019 and previously held the same position at LIU Post. Ms. Doré has performed extensively throughout the US and Europe, and is always happy to perform with friends in Huntington. cellist Anthony Arnone enjoys a varied career as a soloist, chamber musician, conductor, recording artist, composer, teacher and author throughout the country and around the world. Mr. Arnone has been the professor of cello at the University of Iowa School of Music since 2001 and enjoys combining music with his other passion of running marathons.
