Award-winning author Thomas Maier is best known for his riveting biographies, including two books that were made into highly acclaimed TV series, Masters of Sex and Mafia Spies. He is also a local Long Island author.
Maier’s new book, The Invisible Spy, tells the story of America’s first secret agent of World War II, the little-known Ernest Cuneo. Working alongside British spies like Ian Fleming, Cuneo was part of Churchill’s spy ring that operated out of Rockefeller Center. Join us for a fascinating talk about the origins of U.S. intelligence, the fight against Nazis, and so much more. Followed by a book sale and signing.
