The Honey Badgers Live at the Hard Luck Café
Presented by the Folk Music Society of Huntington and the Cinema Arts Centre

Join us for an unforgettable evening of folk and Americana with The Honey Badgers, a Newark, Delaware-based duo praised for their emotional depth, sparkling harmonies, and magnetic stage presence.

Winners of the 2024 Emerging Artist Showcase at the Susquehanna Folk Festival and fan-favorites at the 2023 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, Erin Magnin and Michael Schutz Natrin have captivated audiences with their heartfelt songwriting and powerful performances. Their latest album, The Earth Turns and So Do We (June 2024), further showcases their unique blend of lyrical honesty, rich storytelling, and sonic beauty.
Often compared to acts like The Civil Wars and The Swell Season, The Honey Badgers craft intimate, soul-stirring songs woven with Michael’s driving guitar and Erin’s wistful violin.
Don’t miss this rising folk duo in the cozy setting of the Sky Room at the Cinema Arts Centre.
🎟️ Presented as part of the monthly Hard Luck Café concert series.

The Honey Badgers (Erin Magnin and Michael Schutz Natrin) was named the winner of the Emerging Artist Showcase during the 2024 Susquehanna Folk Festival in York, Pennsylvania last August and was voted the “Most Wanted to Return” act following the Grassy Hill Emerging Artist Showcase at the 2023 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival in Goshen, Connecticut. The duo, who released a second full-length album entitled The Earth Turns and So Do We in June 2024, also played the Philadelphia Folk Festival last summer.
The Honey Badgers – whose sound has been likened to that of The Civil Wars and The Swell Season — impress audiences with their intense, sparkling harmonies, honest lyrics and melodies, and undeniable onstage chemistry. Weaving their voices together with Michael’s driving guitar and Erin’s wistful violin, the married duo spins stories and songs about finding yourself, finding each other, and finding your way in the world.
