Join us for an unforgettable day as we welcome our brand-new, life-size sperm whale to Long Island.
*Due to wet weather conditions forecasted for the morning of Sunday, September 28, the event will begin slightly later, starting at 12pm, and will run until 4pm.
Enjoy our fun community fundraiser welcoming our new whale with plenty of activities for both adults and children. Meet our 45-foot long sperm whale, and view the whale’s internal organs from the inside! Etch your own scrimshaw art design to keep, enjoy Fin-tastic Face painting, play our under-the-sea trivia sessions, try your aim throwing a “harpoon,” and more – all included with admission.
Reserve your spot now for a whale of a good time! Advance tickets include full access to the museum, all event activities, crafts, face painting, and a once-in-a-lifetime walk-through inside our brand new 45-foot whale. Timed-entry tickets for whale tours will be selected during registration.
Advance tickets are strongly recommended — whale tours have limited capacity. Door tickets will be available if space remains, but inner access to the whale may not be available without advance booking.
Event Notes: Strollers are allowed on the outside plaza, but not inside the gallery on this day due to fire code regulations. Thank you for your cooperation! Please Wear Socks – To view the whale inside, you will be required to temporarily remove your shoes. Please come wearing socks.
General Admission – Crafts, face painting, whale tours, talks, and ocean-themed fun for all ages! Don’t miss it as we make history!
This is an indoor/outdoor event. While whales usually love water, this one doesn’t!
