Signing Stories with Susie – Free

Join us for a unique storytelling experience where American Sign Language and spoken English come together to create a fun and meaningful event for the whole family. 

Looking for a free and engaging summer activity for the whole family? Join us at Published Bookstore for Signing Stories with Susie, an interactive storytelling experience open to parents and children of all ages.

Susie, a member of the Deaf community, will beautifully sign the story in American Sign Language (ASL), while Dawn, an ASL teacher, reads the story aloud in English. Before the story begins, participants will learn several key signs related to the book, followed by a review and a fun Q&A session after the reading.

This special program offers a wonderful opportunity to learn about ASL, engage with the Deaf community, and enjoy a story together in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
