School’s Out! Art’s In! Summer Workshops for Kids Workshop II: Painting Palette-Palooza

Young artists will investigate a variety of painting techniques and will explore different kinds of paint, such as acrylic and watercolor. Grades 2-5. 

The class will do observational studies, paint in plein air and work abstractly while creating several unique projects.

Children are invited to explore works of art on display in the Museum and then create original works of art inspired by what they see. Participants will be given individual attention and work in a variety of media and techniques. Projects will be brought home at the end of the second day of each workshop.
