Northport Historic Business District Walking Tour

Join local historian Dan Sheehan for a fascinating walking tour through Northport’s Historic Business District, exploring the people, places, and stories that shaped the village’s rich past. 

Travel back in time as local historian Dan Sheehan leads a lively walking tour along Northport’s Main Street, sharing the stories behind the people and landmarks that helped shape the village’s unique history.

Along the way, participants will learn about legendary author Jack Kerouac, Northport’s Oyster Barons, local Rum Runners, the historic trolley, and other fascinating chapters from Northport’s past.

The tour is open to all ages and departs from the steps of the museum.
