Join The Walt Whitman Birthplace Association for a day of stewardship and community. Whether you’re planting trees or clearing trails, your one morning makes a huge impact.
We’re teaming up with thousands of volunteers across New York State to get our favorite green spaces ready for spring. We’ll be working on:
🌱 Raking & weeding
🍁 Cleanup
🪴 Planting
It’s a great way to meet neighbors, get some fresh air and give back to the community. All ages and skill levels are welcome!
Bring your own supplies: garden tools/ wear hats/long sleeves/sneakers/gloves/ sunscreen.
