“Free” Boating Safety Course
Supervisor Smyth and the Department of Maritime Services would like to inform residents that all boaters are required to have a boating safety certificate to operate any motorized vessel in New York State.
As part the Victoria Gaines Boating Safety Program, the Town will offer a boating safety certification course at Town Hall. Everyone age 10 and above are welcome.
This course is FREE, however, there is a $10 fee for your permanent boating certificate payable to New York State Parks for participants 18+.
