Crab Meadow Marsh Restoration Public Meeting – Free

Learn about the future of Crab Meadow Marsh and provide input on plans to restore and protect one of Huntington’s most important coastal wetlands. 

Join Audubon New York, the Town of Huntington, and project partners for a public meeting on the restoration of Crab Meadow Marsh, home to the 250-acre Jerome A. Ambro Memorial Wetland Preserve.

Representatives from EA Engineering will present preliminary restoration designs and discuss plans to improve the marsh’s resilience to sea level rise, restore wildlife habitat, and address the impacts of development, pollution, nutrient runoff, and invasive species.

This meeting builds upon the initial public presentation held last September and offers residents an opportunity to learn more about the project and provide feedback as plans move forward.
