Bald Eagles of Centerport Statue Unveiling – FREE
The Town of Huntington invites the community to a special unveiling ceremony for the new Bald Eagles of Centerport bronze sculpture on the Mill Dam Bridge in Centerport.
Created by artist Shawn McAvoy, this stunning piece honors the original “Dad Eagle,” whose daily flights over the bridge inspired and captivated residents, veterans, photographers, and all who cherish Centerport’s natural beauty.
Special guests Bobby Horvath and Cathy St. Pierre of WINORR will attend with Montana, a rescued Bald Eagle. Photographers from Bald Eagles of Centerport will also be present with calendars available for purchase.
