It’s the holiday event of the season! NYRMA is teaming up with US Brews and RockCANRoll to help our neighbors in need. 

On Sunday, December 21st we’ll be hosting an all-day event featuring a whole bunch of great bands, all who are donating their time and talent to help raise money, food and winter coats to be distributed by the great folks at RockCANRoll. And you might win a new guitar!

Your entire $10 donation at the door will go to providing much needed food to seniors, children and families right here in our community.

We also ask you to bring along a donation of healthy, non-perishable food if you can to be collected and distributed by RockCANRoll.

“Most Needed: Food List: Peanut butter – plastic containers Jams – plastic containers Canned meat & fish: chicken, tuna, salmon etc.. Hearty soups, chili, stews Tofu – boxed nonperishable Macaroni & cheese, boxed dinners Coffee, Tea (herbal & decaf too) Iced tea (and mixes) Canned fruits & vegetables Milk: Evaporated ,Powdered milk Soy Milk, Almond Milk Parmalat Milk boxes (chocolate too!) Hot Chocolate (instant packets) 100% canned or boxed juices (individual sizes too) Gatorade (individual sizes too) Infant formula, Baby food Pediacare, Toddler food Beans: kidney, pinto, navy, black, refried, etc. Sweets…. everyone loves a treat! Breakfast cereal bars Granola Bars, Snack Bars Pretzels – individual sizes Dried fruits, Nuts Pasta & Rice (brown pasta, rice, GLUTEN FREE) Healthy cereals: low sugar & fat, high fiber, individual serving size too Oatmeal and Hot cereals Flour, baking mixes Spices Canned Sauces Condiments: ketchup, mustard, etc. Applesauce, Puddings & Custards Baking mixes, Muffin & Roll mixes *Personal Items (soaps, shampoos, toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, creams & lotions, deodorant, diapers, wipes, tampons, sanitary napkins, depends, etc..) Paper Towel, toilet paper, kleenex Pet Foods, treats, etc… ** When shopping for canned items, please look for flip tops. Can openers are always needed too.
Plus, if you have any gently used, clean winter coats that you no longer need, bring them down as well!

Every donation gets you a raffle ticket for a chance to win a guitar, courtesy of Michael Kelly guitars! Your $10 admission gets you one ticket. Bring some food, get another, bring a coat, get another one!
We sure you are hearing about just how difficult it is for those who rely on the local food banks this season. Donations are down, shelves are bare. It’s hard for all of us. But if you are fortunate enough to be able to help us, you’ll be doing much more than providing a meal or a warm coat – you’ll be letting people know that there are others out there who care about them.
So please stop by and join in on the fun – it will make a difference in someone’s life!

US Brews  is one of the area’s best music rooms and has an amazing selection of local and top-rated craft brews available in cans, bottles, and growlers to take home.
