Suffolk County Police last night arrested two people during an SLA inspection at a night club in Huntington Station.
Second Precinct Crime Section, in conjunction with Human trafficking Unit, New York State Liquor Authority, Town of Huntington Fire Marshal, and Town of Huntington Ordinance Inspector, conducted an SLA Inspection at The Carousel Night Club, located at 522 East Jericho Turnpike at approximately 11:30 p.m.
Crime Section officers arrested the manager, Rick Scola, 59, of Huntington Station, for Employing Unlicensed Security Guard, an unclassified misdemeanor, and issued two tickets for SLA violations. A Security Guard, Antonio Daddi, 52, of Merrick, was arrested for Unlicensed Security Guard, an unclassified misdemeanor.
The Town of Huntington Fire Marshalls and Town of Huntington Code Enforcement Inspector issued eleven combined Building, Fire and Code Violations to the establishment.
Both arrestees were issued Field Appearance Tickets and are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on September 17.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
