Join Christine Suter, Executive Director of Friends of the Bay and President of the Huntington-Oyster Bay Audubon Society, for an engaging presentation exploring the fascinating world of horseshoe crabs.

Having survived for more than 450 million years and endured five mass extinction events, horseshoe crabs are among the planet’s oldest living species.

This program will examine their natural history, their vital relationship with migratory shorebirds, the important role their unique blue blood plays in the biomedical industry, and the conservation efforts underway to help ensure their survival.
