Suffolk County Police today arrested two women during a raid at a Huntington Station massage parlor.
In response to community complaints, Second Precinct Crime Section officers in conjunction with the Town of Huntington Fire Marshal and Ordinance Inspector, conducted an investigation into The Shop, located at 523 East Jericho Turnpike, and arrested two employees.
Irene Jin, 53, of Bethpage, was charged with Criminal Nuisance, a misdemeanor. Yuna Takahashi, 52, was charged with two counts of Unauthorized Practice of a Profession, a felony, and two counts of Prostitution, a misdemeanor.
The Town of Huntington Fire Marshal and Ordinance Inspector issued several violations and are conducting a further investigation into the business.
Jin and Takahashi and were issued Desk Appearance Tickets and will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
