September 11, 2001 – We Will Never Forget

On that tragic day, nearly 3,000 lives were lost in the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil. Among them were 343 firefighters and 71 law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice. Sadly, the toll continues to grow as rescue and recovery workers battle long-term health effects from their service at Ground Zero.

The East Northport Fire Department has always vowed to “Never Forget” — the lives lost, the heroes who responded, and the families forever changed. This year, the members of ENFD, neighboring fire departments, and our community will gather together to honor and remember.
