Halesite Fire Department Spring Blood Drive – FREE

The Halesite Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary will be hosting the Long Island Blood Services as blood shortages are still at critical lows. Please join us to donate blood.

All donors should park in the public lot at the rear of the firehouse. You must have your photo ID on you, and be prepared to spend about 30-45 minutes in the donation process.

DONORS PRESENTING:
-Must be 17 years of age or older (16 with parental consent), and weigh at least 110 pounds
-Must show valid photo identification
-Drink plenty of fluids before donating.
-Donors who only give platelets may not take aspirin, or products containing aspirin, for 48 hours prior to donating.
