The Greenlawn Fire Department’s Fireman’s Fair is back this Labor Day Weekend, carrying on its title as New York State’s longest-running Fireman’s Fair — and the ultimate end-of-summer tradition!
For generations, families have marked their calendars for this hometown favorite, and it’s easy to see why.
The excitement kicks off Thursday night with the Fireman’s Parade marching proudly down Broadway and leading everyone straight to the fairgrounds behind GFD headquarters. From there, the fun only grows — with mouthwatering eats like sizzling hot dogs, buttery corn on the cob, hand-cut fries, snow cones, cotton candy, and ice cream galore.
Kids can test their skills at the game booths, race down the giant slide, or just get delightfully sticky with cotton candy, while parents try their luck at the Big Six wheel or Nevada booth.
With rides, games, delicious food, and a community spirit like no other, the Greenlawn Fireman’s Fair is the place to be this Labor Day Weekend!
