Two Seriously Injured in Huntington Station Crash

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY – Issued June 20, 2026

Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a two-vehicle crash that seriously injured a man and woman in Huntington Station yesterday evening.

Marie Fond-Rose was stopped at a red light in a 2020 Mercedes Benz, heading eastbound on Pulaski Road at the intersection of New York Avenue in the right most lane, when an eastbound 2011 Honda drove up from behind the Mercedes and onto the sidewalk to the right of the vehicle, struck the side of the Mercedes, and then crashed into a metal utility pole at approximately 6:40 p.m.

The driver of the Honda, George Falkowski, 90, and his passenger, Anita Falkowski, 92, both of Huntington, were transported to Huntington Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Fond-Rose, 56, was transported to Huntington Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks. Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
