Town of Huntington Public Hearing Febeuary 25 – Proposed Tax Exemptions

Please be advised that there will be a PUBLIC HEARING at Huntington Town Hall to hear public comment on the following Proposed Tax Exemptions: 

Resolution 2026-96 (Tax Exemption for Surviving Spouse of Police Officers Killed in the Line of Duty) 

Resolution 2026-97 (Tax Exemption for Surviving Spouse of Fire Fighters Killed in the Line of Duty) 

Resolution 2026-98 (Tax Exemption for Certain Persons Performing Active Military Duty in A Combat Zone) 

Resolution 2026-99 (Partial Real Property Tax Exemption for Qualified Senior Citizens) 

Applications are now being accepted. If the Town Board enacts these exemptions, they will be processed accordingly.
