On April 27, 2025, over 40 neighbors of all ages gathered together to love up our beautiful town of Huntington Station for the 15th year! We had a great time with old and new friends while we picked up litter, weeds, dirt and debris across 2 and a half miles and added fresh mulch along the commuter lot. Our Volunteers in white (t-shirts) were Girl Scouts, elected officials from Town and County, business owners, Northwell management, community leaders, neighbors and the Huntington High School Girls Lacrosse team! THANK YOU ALL!
The 2025 Huntington Station Spring Cleanup was co-hosted by HSLQ: Friends of Huntington Station Latin Quarter, Huntington Matters, and Palacios Law Group. Special Thanks go out to John Marcinka, Jr. who donated his Quality Island Landscaping crew, trucks, equipment and mulch to beautify the commuter parking lot; and to the Huntington Station Business Improvement District for their very generous $500 grant for cleaning supplies from County Line Hardware; and to the Town of Huntington Highway Department – Andre Sorrentino, Supervisor and Walter Edwards, Deputy Supervisor – for their help setting up and sweeping the roads behind us! Thank You, Xavier Palacios and Palacios Law Group, for providing the pizza lunch at the NEW New York Avenue Pizza in Huntington Station!
