Suffolk County Legislator Stephanie Bontempi, Village of Northport Mayor Donna Koch, and the Northport Farmers’ Market invite you to the annual Howl-Ween Pet Paw-Rade.
Dress up your furry friends in their best Halloween costumes and join the fun as the parade kicks off from the Northport Village Park Gazebo and ends at the Northport Farmers’ Market. A costume contest will be judged by Farmers’ Market vendors and volunteers, with prizes generously donated by local pet stores. Winners will even be featured on social media!

In addition to the Trunk or Treat there will also be face painting, treats, Food Trucks, Raffle Baskets and a 50/50!

Join the Huntington Historical Society in the Conklin Barn with Barbara LaMonica & Karen Martin for My Weeping Friends Remember Me: A Victorian Wake.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about funeral custom traditions of the past, view a selection of funerary items from our museum collections, and sample traditional mourning refreshments. Among many other interesting topics, we will discuss: the significance of hair jewelry, cemeteries and gravestone symbolism, and Victorian mourning practices after the death of a loved one.
