Suffolk County Police today arrested a woman for unauthorized practice of a profession during a massage parlor raid in Greenlawn.
In response to community complaints, Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Unit officers, in conjunction with the Human Trafficking Unit, Town of Huntington Fire Marshal and Ordinance Inspector’s office, conducted an investigation into Valley Sole Spa, located at 51 Broadway, Unit 6, and arrested an employee.
Lianlin Liang, 47, of Flushing, was charged with Unauthorized Practice of a Profession, a Felony.
The Town of Huntington Fire Marshal and Code Enforcement Inspectors issued several violations to the business and is conducting a further investigation. Liang was issued a Desk Appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
