Lunch and Learn: Green-Wood’s Revolutionary War Project
The Huntington Historical Society hosts Jeff Richman – the historian at Brooklyn’s Green-Wood Cemetery. A year ago, he launched Green-Wood’s Revolutionary War Project, an effort to identify, write the biographies, and mark the graves of patriots interred there. But the challenge was daunting: Green-Wood was founded in 1838, after most patriots were long dead and buried elsewhere. How would he find those at the cemetery? Join Jeff for a slideshow talk on how he, and his dedicated volunteers, solved so many mysteries!
