Greenlawn Fireman’s Fair and Parade

The 2024 Greenlawn Fireman’s Fair kicks off Thursday 8/29/24 with the Annual Parade featuring many of the nearby Fire Departments and Pipe Bands.

Each year, the fair is kicked off by the Fireman’s Parade Night on the Thursday before Labor Day when firefighters and ambulance personnel from surrounding departments make their way down Broadway to congregate on the fairgrounds behind Greenlawn Fire Department headquarters, enjoy an ice-cold drink and a bite to eat. Summer culinary favorites are always a hit…spicy fresh hot dogs, buttery corn on the cob, fresh-cut potato fries, snow cones, cotton candy, ice cream, and more… While the children are getting sticky from the cotton candy, trying one of many skill games, riding down the giant slide, or parents can hit it big at the Big Six or Nevada booth. There’s always plenty of family fun every year at our fair.
