Free Red Oak Saplings – South Huntington Pubic Library
Our May Sustainability theme is Plant Power, and we are happy to announce that Harvest at Home is donating 100 red oak saplings to the South Huntington Public Library!
Did you know? A single mature red oak can absorb up to 48 pounds of CO₂ per year. That means together, these 100 trees could remove up to 4,800 pounds (2.4 tons) of CO₂ every year once mature — helping clean our air and cool our climate.
Let’s green our neighborhood, one tree at a time.
First come, first served!
Join us at the library and adopt your free red oak sapling.
