10:30am: Walk around Huntington Lake
11:00am: Picnic on the lawn
We will gather in front of the Heckscher Museum of Art at 10:00am and then walk together around Huntington Lake. Stay after as we gather on the main lawn in front of the Chapin Rainbow Outdoor stage. Please bring blankets, lawn chairs, lawn games, snacks, or whatever you’d like to picnic together.
The lake path is completely accessible for wheelchairs and has a great view of the ducks and turtles. Dogs are welcome at the park as long as they are on a leash.

Register for the Virtual Walk and join the Long Island Walk Team. Participants who raise over $50 will receive a For Pete’s Sake 2024 Walk shirt.

Free parking is available in following locations:
- Small parking lot adjacent to the Museum (handicapped accessible)
- Street parking on Prime Avenue (on the west side of Heckscher Park) and adjacent side streets
- Angle parking on Madison Street (at the north side of Heckscher Park)
