Crafts and Cocktails – Sourdough: Get Started
The April monthly “Crafts and Cocktails” at the Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum takes you into the world of ” Sourdough Starters” where you will learn about the process of fermentation, from its use on Whaling Ships in the past to todays fascination with all things bread making. You will make your own starter and decorate a glass jar to take your starter home in where you will watch it grow.
Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 6:30 PM-8:00 PM
You will enjoy a beer and sample a variety of focaccia breads and will also take home a recipe booklet to help you with your own starter.
AGE: 21 and up
$30 Participant, Museum members $20
