💜 Recovery Is REAL – Join Us for Suffolk County’s National Recovery Month Kick-Off! 💜

Join Suffolk County’s National Recovery Month Kick-Off for a day of inspiration, education, and community support celebrating the message that recovery is possible and hope is powerful. 

Kick off National Recovery Month with a free community event dedicated to celebrating recovery, reducing stigma, and connecting individuals and families with valuable resources and support services.
Whether you’re in recovery, supporting a loved one, working in the behavioral health field, or simply interested in learning more, everyone is welcome to attend.
The event will feature:
  • Inspiring guest speakers
  • A special Youth Speaker from Outreach sharing their recovery journey
  • Narcan training
  • Community resources and support services
  • Recovery information and education
  • Opportunities to connect with local organizations dedicated to helping individuals and families thrive
Featured speakers include:
  • Dr. Sylvia Diaz, PhD, LMSW – Deputy County Executive for Health, Human Services & Education
  • Anthony Rizzuto, LMSW, CASAC-Master Counselor, CAI-II – Director of Provider Relations, Seafield Center
  • Special Youth Speaker from Outreach
  • Jason Byron – Suffolk County Police Department Emergency Medical Service Officer, presenting Narcan Training
Together, the community will celebrate the message that Recovery Is REAL: Restoring Every Aspect of Life for Everyone.
