Draw Out Arts Festival - Live model for figure drawing practice.

HUNTINGTON, NY – The Heckscher Museum of Art was the place to be on Saturday, September 13, 2025 as creativity took center stage at the Draw Out! Free Arts Festival. From the front lawn at Heckscher Park to inside the museum, families and art lovers of all ages enjoyed a full day of hands-on activities, live entertainment, and community fun.

On the lawn outside of the museum, festival goers explored a variety of art stations, while inside the Museum, staff and volunteers helped bring artwork to life in exciting ways. The day was made extra special thanks to the collaboration of many local organizations, including:

There was live music throughout the day, Waterpainting by the Pond, creating art while listening to the children’s book “Be Who You Are” by Todd Park, and the Big Black Food Truck was onsite with food for purchase.
