Suffolk County Police last night cited the bartender of a Huntington bar during an SLA Inspection.
In response to a community complaint, Second Precinct Crime Section officers, in conjunction with New York State Liquor Authority, Town of Huntington Fire Marshal, and the Town of Huntington Ordinance Inspector, conducted an SLA Inspection at JT Carrington’s, located at 10 Elm Street, at approximately 11 p.m.
During the inspection, numerous SLA violations were observed. Town of Huntington Fire Marshal and Town of Huntington Ordinance Inspector issued seven combined Fire and Building Code violations.
The bartender, Theresa Igoe, 63, of Huntington, was additionally cited for three ABC Law violations.
Igoe is scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip on July 2.
The New York State Liquor Authority will be conducting further investigations into the establishment.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
