East Northport Fire Department 25th Anniversary 9/11 Candlelight Vigil – Free

Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives lost, honor the heroes, support those who continue to suffer, and renew the promise to never forget. 

The East Northport Fire Department invites the community to gather for a special candlelight vigil commemorating the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

Members of the East Northport Fire Department will join neighboring fire departments, emergency responders, families, friends, and members of the community to remember those who lost their lives and recognize the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of those who responded at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

The vigil will also recognize the rescue, recovery, and response personnel who continue to suffer from the long-term health effects associated with their service following the attacks. 

Please join together in remembrance, reflection, and unity as the community honors the lives lost and renews the promise: We Will Never Forget.
