Join Councilwoman Theresa Mari for an important and empowering Naloxone (Narcan) Training designed specifically for college and high school students.
Led by Barry Zaks of the Huntington Drug & Alcohol Counseling Center, this free program will teach participants how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and properly administer Naloxone, a life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of an overdose.
Attendees will receive community service credit, a free Naloxone kit, and valuable skills that can make a difference in an emergency. This training is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your resume, build confidence, and learn how to help protect friends, family members, and members of your community.
Students ages 14 and younger must have parental consent to attend.
