Northport’s 20th Annual Lighting of the Leg Lamp – FREE

Twenty years ago, the Mayor of Northport was visiting the proprietors of The Northport Hardware Company. Together, they stumbled upon an old gag gift. Laughing, they stuck it in the front window, and gave it an honorary salute.

From that quirky moment, the Northport Leg Lamp Lighting has grown to become a beloved community celebration of local talent, small-town charm, and our village’s unique ability to unite over something delightfully whimsical and create something truly spectacular.

Special performances by Community Playhouse, Posey School of Dance and Northport HS Tigerettes.

After the lighting there will be a reception with the Drama Kings

Great Raffles from local businesses, 50/50, hot chocolate provided courtesy of the Shipreck Diner and much more.

Long Island Harvest Food Drive – bring an item for those in need this season
