DESCRIPTION:MoonGroove’s Film Showcase returns for its fourth annual showcase on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Cinema Arts Centre in Huntington, NY. \nMoonGroove is a collective of emerging independent filmmakers who want to highlight the talent and effort of young creatives in film. \nThe screening will feature eight short films from student, independent, and emerging filmmakers, with selections ranging from comedy to drama, representing filmmakers from New York, across the country, and internationally.\nThis year’s showcase will include two filmmaker Q&A sessions, followed by a mingling hour featuring networking opportunities, giveaways, activities, and freebies. The event is designed to bring filmmakers and audiences together in a shared theatrical experience while creating opportunities for emerging artists to connect, showcase their work, and grow within the independent film community. \nThe event is open to the public, with tickets available through the Cinema Arts Centre.
